Hey everyone. Last year I got put in charge of sending out over 100 invites for our family reunion last year and when I received via e-mail the address list, I found it was typed in this fashion:
Joe Buck( spaces ) Jane Buck Address ( spaces ) Address ect, with obviously no columns created inbetween them. I have purchased an address label kit to print out the addresses and instead of retyping them, I would like to just be able to cut and paste into the boxes. You can see how this would be a huge problem. Is there anyway to "break" the page down the middle and get the addresses on seperate lines without doing the long cut and paste way of redoing the whole list so that it looks like this: Joe buck Address Address Jane Buck Address Address or even Joe Buck ( Word Column Format ) Jane Buck Address ( Word Column Format ) Address I hope this makes sense. |

did you try doing a mail merge?
if not... go under your mailings tab and click on mail merge and then start mail merge wizard. a window will open on the left side of the screen. click the labels click next (at the bottom) use your document that has all the addresses on it. and adjust the label options to your preference. click next and pretty much follow the wizard from there. if this is done correctly it cuts time down substantially and will align things perfectly for printing. I hope this is what your wanted to hear. |
