Hi All
Today wanted to use Microsoft Word. But for some reason its not there anymore. I used it a couple of days ago. The Icon is still there but comes up 'not installed for current owner'. I know there is a way of resetting the computer to a few days ago. Had a look but have no idea on how to do it.....any chance of a bit of help!! As always cud you do it in A B C terms. tks
Terry

You my friend get the strangest error messages ever.

I could not hunt down any information on it.
The only solution I have is change Word programs.

OpenOffice is a Word based program and has less hassles then MS Word. It is compatible with all other major office suites. It will open nearly any type of document.
It is free and can be found in our downloads section.

AbiWord is a lighter version of the same thing. As far as functions, they are all there.

Sorry this is not a fix but if you are needing to use a word document program, these will keep you going.
