Default Word2007 Table Separator

I am having a problem with a bottom line in a cell in the middle of a table. Since MS Word will not let you display codes I don't know how to solve this. I have a medium size table and one of the cells bottom line is in bold like this ________. I don't know how to change the line to normal without redoing the entire table. I have tried everything I could think of and I cannot get the line to appear normal. You cannot highlight just the line without highlighting the entire cell. When I tried to delete or shift the cell that would work but when I created the cell again it comes back with the blasted bold bottom line. Any ideas would be appreciated. If no solution I will just recreate the table.

Gary

any chance you could upload a screenshot of your screen with the problem? uploading it onto PhotoBucket.com or something similar?

May be able to help then.
