| Doesn't really matter, any Intel Socket LGA775 board. Having said that there is the old "Anythings only as good as it's worst" theory, this can be true for computers to a certain extent, so theres no use having state of the art 4 x 4GB ram that absolutely must be water cooled or it'll melt, which you've then overclocked to 500% If you're going to put it with a CPU that doesn't even need a fan on the heatsink it's so old. A more sensible example would be installing 4GB or more ram without having an x64 OS (x86 only recognises up to 3.5 roughly)

| No, it will not work in any Socket 775 board. But it doesn't matter - this is a good deal for those who need a replacement, but it's not worth buying a board for.

| What Carbon was saying is that seeing as it's an old CPU it's not worth investing in a new piece f kit just so you can run an old piece of kit. It'd be a lot easier if you said what board you're using then we can say whether they're compatible or not.
