i dont need it for anything fancy just web browsing and such like but not somthing that take for ever to load and a bit of space it and speed only to set up in my bedroom to connect the my tv/monitor
i live by heathrow so i need to be able to collect as i dont think it would make in the post lol

I assume you guys have thrift stores in the UK?

If you just want a basic browsing computer often you can pick one up there on the cheap. The only real concern would be storage.

How much do you want to spend?

I happen to have some towers:
P4 3.2 GHz
80GB Hard Drive
1GB of RAM
DVD ReWriter
Nvidia 6600GT (128 MB) Graphics Card

It is made by E-Systems (Emachines) and was bought by my grandparents from PC World the Christmas before last so is about 1.5 years old. The original price was nearly £400.

I added a new graphics card into it at Christmas and stripped it down, cleaned everything, and rebuilt it. It has a fresh installation of XP Home Service Pack 3 on it for which it has the CD Key on the side of it. It also has some other software that came with it.

It will run Flight Simulator 2007, COD2 fine, probably COD3 on lowish settings and most other older titles. Great for internet browsing etc.

I was going to put it on eBay now, and the going rate seems to be about £220. However, many of the PCs on eBay have no graphics card, and are very over sold.

The only thing I can fault with it is that it is not the silentist of computers, but it has been like it since it was first bought. It does not affect its use at all though, and is only noticeable when it is very quiet.

Anyway, sales pitch over. I will take £160 for it from any donators on the forum, of which I will make a £20 donation to CJ.

I also have its brother which was bought at the same time, is the same except it does not have a graphics card and has onboard graphics. Otherwise it is identical.

It has not yet been refurbed by me but I can do and I would take £125 for it of which I will again donate £20 to the forums.

They can be posted for about a £10 and I have never had any problems posting. It you want some pictures I can get some.

EDIT: I see you also want wireless, I can stick a wifi card in it for you for a tenner (what it cost me to buy it).
