Changes to the News and Articles sections
Originally posting was stopped so both sections showed the newest news or guides at the top.
This was to help regular readers not have to sieve through threads to find new stuff they haven't read.
On normal forums it makes sense to have the popular threads show first as these are normally the most interesting.
But on a news forum you want the newest stuff first as old news is not that interesting.
Same applies to the article section, the comments are normally not what people are looking for, it's the main article that has the 'meat' so again newest ones first makes sense.
What I'm waffling on for is I have now found a setting to keep everything as wanted but still allow posting, basically a post will not bump a thread to the top in these two sections.
So now feel free to add your comments to news and with the articles if you feel something is wrong or left out you can say so in the thread.
Thanks for reading, probably bored most of you but felt a good explanation would make you understand better.
