So i have spent the last few days solid building CJ fresh from the ground up.

That is why there has been so much downtime today.

As a result server load is almost non existent and page loads are pretty swift.

We are also now running the latest vB version so a few new features have been added like tags, gallery and some old ones that had been lost are back.

There are a few bits left but I haven't slept properly in days so they'll have to wait. In the meantime please let me know your thoughts and if anything is missing/different.

Thanks.

Looks good to me, but ugh the tag and bookmark placement stuff above the quickreply box annoys the hell out of me. Shaved loading times by over 1/2 though so I'm happy.

All is looking good to me Dave, load times are great here. In the Community pictures and albums - is this going to be a feature for everyone to use, I notice at the minute it tells me "you do not have permission to access this page"

Time for you to get some well deserved sleep, you need it.....

Thanks guys, it's definitely much faster and as the code is w3 compliant it doesn't glitch or hang. Basically 3 years of me messing with the old site took it's toll, there server is definitely happier, could probably even downgrade it and save a few $$$, just goes to show how important good code is, something I ignored if it looked right on screen.

carbon - I'll look into moving them below the quick reply, although it might not be possible.

sjb - photo albums should be good to go now for all usergroups, please confirm. Thanks.

All others - feedback welcome, see any bugs or just want to put something out there now is the time!

Photo Albums working fine here Dave
Are the points thingy done with now? I know there used to be a link at the top of the forum where you could view points for everyone..

Edit:
Can also view your pictures in full now too

Forum looks heaps better . When searching for new posts, it shows 2 lines of the post under the link, I think that's pretty cool.
