Default Competition - Activity = Points = Prizes - Full Details!

Activity = Points = Prizes Competition.

We have setup a member points system, leaders can be viewed here > http://www.computer-juice.com/forums/points.php Also on the navbar under 'Points'.

You earn points for doing a whole manner of actions on the site from browsing threads to posting threads to referring new members, even just logging in. Different scales of points are awarded for the length of your posts even how many posts and the length of posts people you refer make, it is a very complex system and there are 100's of ways to earn, I will not however divulge any further info so to keep the system from being gamed.

There are no fees for entry, it is free and all you have to do is use the site, possibly somewhat aggressively as competition hots up. Remember as there are many ways to earn and many ways to earn big for some actions, the leaders are always technically catchable. Don't feel like you can't win, spend more time here than others and it's completely possible regardless of how far in front they are, missing the start date does not mean you can't compete!

The latest round of this competition will start on Sunday 5th October 12 noon and the winners will be picked on Monday 10th November 12 noon. UK Time!

The points table will be reset on the above date and time, all members go back to 0.

Prizes for this round are as following:

1st - £15 / €18EUR / $27USD + 1 Free CJ Raffle Number and Donator status if you don’t yet have it.
2nd - £10 / €12EUR / $18USD + Donator status if you don’t yet have it.
3rd - £5 / €6EUR / $9USD + Donator status if you don’t yet have it.

Money prizes paid by PayPal only.

Forums rules still apply, no spam, bumping, worthless posts etc.

Forum rules: http://www.computer-juice.com/forums...uncements.html

Also you can only score points in the computer hardware/software forums, off topic and community news etc are excluded.

Finally please digg this thread > http://digg.com/hardware/Competition...s_Full_Details

Thanks and good luck.

I've got a question I just thought of, you said you get points for logging in, what happens if (like me) you have the site to remember you, does that still count? and if you have the site always open in a tab does that count?

Erm, I just had a thought..

Because you(Dave)'re a wonderful and very helpfull administrator.. most months you'll be in the top 3... so are you excluded from the system?

Seeing as paying yourself £10 (apart from the satisfaction) isn't a terribly.. erm.. worthwhile thing to do!!

Staff are excluded, we are only in the list as if I exclude us the system wont allow us to see the score table.
