I havent tried myself but the one being done now is being done professionally.

Are you paying someone to make you a forum template? Or are you getting one for free. I have added some ideas to the competition thread which could help in this area.

It is a clean and simple template, I believe that it is the vBulletin default. I like the template although I fell that having a white background makes the skin feel a little too bare, I am not sure which colour would actually look good but you could have a little bit of a play around and see!
