Detailed Guide

This will cover how to add items as an attachment when either starting a new thread or adding a new post within an existing thread.

Depending on which method you use when replying to threads, you will have slightly different steps to take in order to attach items to your posts.

If in an existing thread you will see the following button in the lower right corner of each post.

The quote button allows you to quote the post and will automatically take you to Advanced Mode.

If you are using the Quick Reply Box at the bottom of a thread you will need to click on Go Advanced.

Method For Replies & Starting New Threads:
Click on the button or the button and follow the below steps.

Scroll down the page a little and you will see the manage attachment options.

Click on the Manage Attachments button and a new window will open.

NOTE: If you are using a pop up blocker you may need to disable it in order to view this window.

Click on Browse and locate the file(s) on your computer. Depending on your configuration, you will need to double click or single click on the file and the directory for the file will then appear in the box as shown in the sample above. Click Upload and wait for the confirmation.

Once you have your files uploaded, you can close the attachments window, (the files are now attached to your post). Finish up any text you want to add to your post and Submit Reply.

If you have more than one item simply repeat the process to add multiple attachments to the post.

If you should receive an error message when trying to upload an attachment there are a number of reasons this could happen such as user error, the size of the attachment or you may possibly be trying to upload a format that is not permitted.

Final Note: After submitting your post you will see an edit button in the lower right corner of your post. This button will only be there for a short period of time so it's a good idea to review your post as soon as you submit it to see if you need to make any changes.

That's it. You can now add items as an attachment to your posts.
