Hey, I may be wrong.. as I don't want to test it for obvious reasons.. but as you can delete certain parts of a quote so that you only quote the part you want..

Isn't it also possible to add in, or completely change what someone supposedly said..?

I just thought of this when I quoted someone and accidently deleted the last word of the sentence, without meaning to, so I just wrote it back in..

Yeah, it's not a bug, forums have been like this since ever.

Obviously someone doing it is rather childish and you can always view the original unquoted post to see what was actually said anyway.

Ah ok.. I just thought if someone said something like:

QUOTE:
randomCJmember says:

Hey you guys all suck your all ************** !!!!!!!!!!!! @@@@@@@ ()()()()()££$%^%£&**"&^%£&&

/QUOTE

Hey Dave, I find that really offensive, randomCJmember should be banned.

But presumably you'd check that was what they originally posted before doing so anyway.. Just being my nosey self

Yea, if something like that happens the original post would be checked, and it would be best to report it with the report button anyway. However on a previous forums I have been one (was a gaming clan) one of the threads ended up with everyone changing the quote slightly to make something funny, then add something else funny to it.
