Is it me or have most of the people in the pic got alot of rep ? When most if not all have only ever posted once?
Or am i missing something. Check out there post count.

but I know what you mean, many people have high rep and low post count, I think they may be using false accounts to boost rep.. it would explain the large amount of inactive accounts too.

Of all my posts (I used to be on 4. something a day.. that slipped xD) I have only just recieved one.

A negative one.... I feel unwanted *cries* haha..

But serious again, I think it should be easier to post rep, as in just click "Good comment" or "Bad Comment"

Seeing as people are much more likely to pick up on something bad and give reputation than they are to think thats a good comment, and go too far out of their way to give good rep.

Good and Bad buttons would be a good system.

Inactive accounts: Some areas need registration, like to see links, to search or to download, not everyone comes here to post all day.

Also you can't abuse the rep system, what you are missing is if I rep someone they get 30 points as I am a admin, if you rep them they get 1 point, so you can see it is easy for a low poster to get high rep from just one vote from an admin or MOD.

Haha.. I can't remember names I just remember seeing it, I'll link to it next time I see one.

I still think Giving Pos. or Neg. rep should be easier though..

How is it hard now, you click the scales and select positive or negative.

The systems works, many top posters have high rep, if this is all because you feel your rep is not as high as you feel it should be I can assure you if you post lots of helpful posts it will go up.

Yeah, but for someone who knows that.

If theres a new member that only joins because they have one little problem they want solving, they never use it again, they like a reply they get as it fixes their problem.

They wouldn't neccessarily realise that they could click the scales to show their apreciation of the comment.
