I don't mean to critisize to much, but for a computer forum there are very little categories to be found here.
For example a seperate:

Gadget forum
Webdesign forum
Operating system forum
Grapic and Design forum
...

Its been mentioned before.

All the topics you suggested are covered by what is already available.

The reason why there isn't niche sections is i don't want to spread what little posts we have too thinly.

As the forum grows more sections will be added.

Yeah it is a good idea to add the extra forums at a later date, when there is more activity. I would suggest adding sub forums, rather then to many normal forums. Make the forums have more selection, this way the forum won't get to long.

There aren't all that many forums that are covered at the moment. But I feel, to be honest, that this forum does not need any more forums at this current stage. It should, firstly, begin to grow and fill up the current ones. Once the forum has grown into it's next stage, it may be a hard job to categorize all of the threads into the correct categories but it would certainly be worth it!

Yes, i think its would be really a nice idea to add something new in it, as some new topics will be introduced , then the forum will be rocking!!!!
