Hey when a thread is moved, it would be nice to know where the thread has been moved to. That way I can find it again.and the moderator who moved it. Thank you..

You can search your old posts.

No offence but if you post in the wrong forum then it comes with the territory.

The staff here have enough of a workload as it is, we cannot inform everyone of where and why their threads were moved, deleted or whatever.

Thanks.

The thread i am refering to is os instalation woes. The issue is hardware compatability related. and its installing windows vista yet somehow they moved it to linux and alternative os.... how does that work... Its a hardware compatability issue so i felt general hardware was the correct forum

The problem you were having was related to a windows operating system, therefore it should have originally been posted in the Windows operating systems forum.

Whether the issue or solution is a hardware issue, your original enquiry was related to the OS.

Wasn't annoyed by your comment in the least. (That's the problem with text; its emotive).

Just wanted it clear as we appreciate any and all feedback.

As for your post regarding Vista. It's got me stumped I'll be honest. Hardware compatibility? Partition? Your guess is a good as mine at the moment, I'll have to think on it some.
