Elijah is on a distinguished road
Default My Suggestion

I and Jsmith70 are from another forum inwhich we are not well pleased in b/c of the administrators not inforcing the rules. I left the forum a few months ago and Jsmith70 is still a member at the moment but said he will probably be leaving soon.
The forum did have on quite nice feature--A chatbox. This chatbox was a very nice way to get to know the other members and to liven up the forum.
If it had not been added I don't think I would know Jsmith exept that he is a member on the forum. I made about 3 or 4 friends b/c of this chatbox and it made me like the forum a'lot more.

I think that it would be really nice to have one here at TCF. Maybe we could try it out and see if it works out like it did on the other forum.

What do the rest of you guys think?

Elijah

I think it will be used to ask questions all the time, which is a bad thing!
It is far better for people to visit the forum a search around the threads so they can get answers to their questions, after all the point of this forums is to help people

Better known as a shoutbox.

I like them, we will have to see what the owner thinks.

Very true SocialWarfare.

They have to be monitored and any questions posed should be directed to make a post.

No technical help in the shoutbox, lol, I have seen that a few times.

It has been noted.

There are many, many upsides to having people post permanent text, but if it is used as intended then it shouldn't effect the forum busyness I guess.
