It should be the same, although there is a column on the right the overal forum width is now bigger (Full screen).

Post a screen if you can.

Dave, I hate to say it but I think it looks awful

The colours just don't look right and everything looks off centre and wrong.

The forums also seem smaller for me.

I thought it must have just been my computer and came in through a proxy and it still doesn't look right...

I dont get why the width is such an issue.

See http://forums.techguy.org/malware-re...es-effect.html

I take it that is the same, and that is one of the biggest comp forums.

It's much better on a w/screen resolution, and as most of us have w/screen tft's now....

Also; it'll take some getting used to as we've been used to one layout since the site was launched. For those of you less than positive about the changes, give it a couple of weeks and you'll get used to it.

Besides, what does the layout matter from a members point of view? The content contained has the most relevance.

I agree with you alex, we will all get used to it over time, i'm sure the same sort of reviews would have been said if it also happended the other way around (this to what it was before)

We'll see how it goes. It would take seconds to change back.

I did it because I think it looks more up to date, also the ads at the top are reduced which was annoying some people, yes at a cost of having them on the right, but you no longer have to scroll to see all the content.

Perhaps it doesn't look so bad. I didn't realise that my Linux router was blocking some of the adds out so that is why it looked so empty.

It is nice not to have to scroll so much to get to the actual threads now.
