Default The News Bot

I have been thinking that it would be nice if members were able to comment on things that the News Bot says in the News section.

For example, it just posted something about Server 2008 and I would have liked to comment on it and find out if anyone else had any experience with it...

I know that the main purpose of it is just for Google Ranks and that no one ever really looks at what is in the News forum but I am not sure why members cannot comment on posts it makes?

Perhaps I am missing something

We used to be able to comment in the news section. Must be a new mod Dave has put in place.

I have thought about banning the newsbot but figured Dave wouldn't take to kindly to it

You should be able to reply but not bump threads to the top, I'll take a look now.

Now I can reply... I'm sure I couldn't do that before

Do the posts there show up in New Posts?

Fixed.

No, they do not show up in the search as the huge amount of posts used to annoy members.
