Seems like the algorithm's a little wacky. People that have just signed up and have never posted have massive amounts of points - perhaps it's calculating a percentage of time since sign up and then checking how much the person has been online against that percentage, which weights it heavily toward these users.

Yeah it needs tweeking.

You actually get points for registering and old members get points if their threads are replied to or rated etc.

So you don't actually have to visit to get points, that said real members earn points at a much higher rate so these things actually become irrelevant after say 60 days of competition.

Everyone's points keeps going down it seems, but the top few new guys are still there with 200+ points all the rest of us are below at under 20 points

Lol, I saw the scores and I'm fifth. Never thought I could get that many, but then you said it was testing, so meh. I think it's a good idea. Do you know what the prizes are going to be?

Money probably, first round might be mouse mats and other stuff, just to test it out.
