Hmmm, mouse mats. Do people use them anymore? Because I don't. Am I strange? But I guess it's not bad for a first round.

Another good point, cash is always a winner, then you can do what you like with it.

What sort of cash prizes would get your attention then and make you compete?

I don't know, It would probably have to be more than a couple of pounds, but we have to take into account if it's too high you won't be able to afford the hosting of the forums as well.

Thats true, I'd say to get someones attention it would have to be at least £5, partly because round figures are more attractive (5, 10, 15 etc)

Although as Thingie says the cost would be an issue, as this is every month, we're talking about, but then again, it does have the potential for MAKING you a lot more money, as newcomers stick with the site, Oldies invite more people etc. more people = more visits = more ad clicks = more turnover.

Exactly, that's the plan, the ad revenue should pay for some decent prizes, traffic goes up then the prizes do, it's all about building up to the big wins. I was thinking of doing say this a month.

1st-15
2nd-10
3rd-5

To test the water like.

Sounds good, it should be enough to get people's attention and get them posting/inviting.
