Referrals?

This may sound like a silly question but what does Referrals mean in users profiles?

Hi

I think when people sign up they can enter the username of someone that told them about the site. It will then be added to the person that recommended thems profile.

I'm not 100%, but that I am almost certain thats what it is.

yea, i'm pretty sure thats what it is. however I don't know what good it does. Maybe you get a reward for ever 10 referals or something? you will have to ask an admin or moderator about that.

hhhmmm ooorr it could mean the the complete opposite

referrals generally mean a warning as such, i mean when i was in school, whenever i was naughty i was sent to referral

i dont think its a good thing on here, thats what we got the rep system for

thanks i think its a good thing though, the mods god some and i haven't seen a member have any so it must be what Thingie and Leo said thanks all.
