Hi all.

As resolving a problem with a pc component or assisting with another issue can come down to (what appears to be) the most insignificant thing it's very important that the mods (and other members) are able to understand what you're saying.

Some of you are typing your posts in an abbreviated fashion and/or in the form of a mobile phone text message.

Not saying don't do it, because that would just make us git's. But it is to your advantage, should you pose a question, to make it readily understandable for all.

Thanks.

Txt speak is actually not allowed as stated in the forum rules.

It brings the forum down, English is the language here so please use it.

Feel free to let me know of anyone not making the effort.

That's cool mate, can't know everything.

It's not a major or bannable offence but still needs to be enforced as txt spk is lazy and irritating.

I don't know why people use it, it just makes them appear dumb.

I couldn't agree more.

I would also like it if people sometimes provided a bit more information in their first posts like how long they have had the problem for etc etc.

Saves having to ask the same questions again and again.

Aside from being annoying, if something is misinterpreted it could lead to a costly ($$$) mistake.

Luckily, I think this forum is rather devoid of txt talkers. I went on 'The Elder Scrolls' forums once and I couldn't understand a thing they said....

It's in the rules. I love this forum.

I already find it annoying when people leave out the apostrophes. I should probably create an Apostrophe Lovers Protection Society. That would be awesomely horrible.

I have the Google toolbar installed with the spell checker, one click and it fixes my mistakes right up.
