No problem CP. Mistakes are made.

And I wasn't really angry, just trying to make a point in a friendly way. Did anyone notice the "" at the bottom of the post?

A big, fat definately to that.

Did anyone hear about the kid a couple of years ago who wrote an exam paper in text speak?

The worrying thing was that he didn't see anything was wrong when he received feedback.

Well my local junior school is allowing children to write as they speak, so long as the teacher can read it and understands what they are saying, so their school books would look a little like this....

Overheard at a Rangers Fitbaw match......... " See last night, ah' finally got ma ane back on the neebours"
Remember a' telt ye that a' canny get tae sleep fur that bloody dug o' theirs barking all night, every night, for the past 3 weeks"
" Well ah' jist said tae oor Mary, ah'm gonny sort them oot wance and for all" and one of his pals said, " whit did ye dae then? "
"A' jist went oot the back and lifted the dug ower intae ma gairden..................... see how they bloody like it.!!

And I kid you not.

Text Speak came about to keep the message as short as possible on a mobile phone, amazingly a dictionary can be purchased today with all Text speak / acronyms explained, as the rules define English is to be used and i find it quite confusing when i have to decipher a post to understand it, lastly the spell checker here works well
