We are looking for a volunteer to update and maintain our downloads section.

It's been a bit neglected in the past and we want to give it a fresh kick and make it a useful resource.

The current staff have a lot to do already so we need someone new.

You will need to have excellent spelling and eye for detail along with availability as this will require some time most days.

first off you misspelt volunteer, i would like to but i am on linux more than i am windows so i dont know if i will be up to spec with the latest windows programs

That won't matter, like I said all you need is time and the ability to use a keyboard and mouse.

it depends on how much time is needed i have alot of school work at the moment, how do we put the programs up there, do you tells us what ones or do we just find good applications

Cew, how why and when will be explained when a candidate has been found.

Initially I just want to know if you have the time to do it as that is the single most important factor.

Will probably take 30 mins or so a day I guess, depends on how quick you are at copying and pasting.
