Any business owners here?

Do any of you own your own business?

Currently I do and have been running a year.

Turnover is around 60k a year...

Is this any good? Personally i think im doing great for a 1 year old company.

Discuss..... :p

Thats a great income. I have a few relatives who own some stores, times can get tough, but the pay is great..I plan on owning a business later in life..

Its not all income, have to deduct expenses, tax, parts etc from that.

Its still more than i can earn in a normal job but is much harder work, also have better prospects i guess.

I am taking my first steps into tangible goods sales in cosmetics and skincare for those special concerns of women over 25 or 30. It will start primarily online. I am slowly pecking away at a website.

Dave may have some pointers regarding the commerce side of it Sage, although don't quote me on that.

That's good to know! Right now I am working on site content. Since cosmetics and skincare has a highly visual, emotional, and sensual...and I tend to be concerned with details, I am working on replacing the pages I made with the on site page builder with something of my own that has more punch. It's slow going, but I enjoy the creative process.
