Here is my reason for staying with smaill guns .First when I was around 16yr old I tried to shot a 22 with both eyes open . At that time no one used safty glasses. Unkown to me that day would be the last time I try that .For the shell exploded in the chamber and the brass at the back of the shell landed in my left eye. Then when I tried my hand in deer hunting the same thing happened with a 303 british . Lucky for me someone placed a small hole in the barrow for saftey reason. The 303 british was know for killing people until someone placed this small hole in the barrow . Befoe the hole the bolt would kick back in to the shoters eye killing them.To this day I still have four bb's from a shot gun in my leg. Had a 30-30 fall over one year doring hunting season with the safty on and the gun still went off was lucky just missed .
So take it from someone who has had bad luck with guns .THEY ARE NOT TOYS. DON'T PLAY WITH THEM.

No, guns are not toys, and it would appear to me Hoppy, that you need WAY more training in the correct use of them. Just a tip, take the round out of the chamber BEFORE setting it down to take a wizz lol.

EDIT: i went hunting with a friend and his dad when I was 11 or 12. I was on one side, friend in the middle, and his dad on the other side. A rabbit flushed to my open side and started to go in front of me. my buddies dad started blazing away at it, across both his son and me. I unpoaded my gun, turned around and got as far away from him as I could. It musta been 5 miles home, but I walked it, I didn't even want to ride back in the same car as that idiot if he had a gun in it.

EDIT II: LOL I forgot, that's a cool episode koolfilter.

What I learned so far is kept me alive . passed the hunters safty test and gave up hunting . Now the deer have a good time on our 118 acers. all open land .And as long as I am alive it will stay that way . I don't like houses close to me.

The place I once sold firearms for is now big in soft air. But I still can get the best deals . I always wondered if it would hurt at 50 yards. if not I wonder if it would work to keep a cat off a greenhouse roof. Don't wont to hurt the cat just don't like fixing all the hole she makes in the plastic.
Cheesepuff did you see the one they had out last year soft air shotgun they sold for $24-29.00 at the place I work they placed them on clearance and sold them for $4.00 Last time I checked in the back room they had many more going for almost nothing. Now you say soft air is that the one with the plastic pellet and you just pull the triger or are you in to the softair guns that take the co2.

Mine airsoft gune is a SPR NOD1 AEG (auto eclectic gun) made of full metal (weights about 12-14 pounds) with a rate of fire at 20 rounds a second, shooting .23 gram bb's at a volocity of 450 feet per second (along with 3x 300 round mags). my friend has a gas sniper shooting 500+ feet per second, semi auto double action. He also has an AK-74 from ICS that shot about 30-40 rounds a second at 320 feet per second (along with 2x 600 round mags). We only play with higher end airsoft guns. but sadly when you play with high power airsoft guns there tends to be a bit of blood. My gun cost about $230. still working on my SWAT suit. part of hard core airsoft is looking the part =D
