Eight ordinary people are given a million dollars and a fortnight of intensive training to run their own hedge fund. Hedge fund manager Lex van Dam wants to see if they can beat the professionals
So I just watched all 3 episodes of this recent BBC program, thought it was very good and gave and interesting insight into how the city stock markets work. It didn't get much exposure with adverts or promotion, I actually stumbled on it and thought it might be of interest to some of you. Think "The Apprentice" type stuff. But less dramatic.

See all 3 episodes here > http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gsr4p

I watched all episodes also, it was very good. I had no real insight in the stock market and especially in this time of depression it was very interesting and really showed the reality of a working hedge-fund.
