Well I dont usually do stuff like this but these guys deserve it. They fought and died through both world wars alongside our own soldiers fighting for the british people and for queen & country. They have also served in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Borneo, Cyprus, the Falklands, Kosovo and now in Iraq and Afghanistan and the government refuse to give them the rights they deserve, instead they let hate preachers and terrorist stay in our country while most of these brave lads are turned away. Help do your bit by signing the petition to help the Ghurka's gain the rights they deserve - The Gurkha Justice Campaign

We have had some of the same issues over here but thankfully I think everyone has finally gotten their well deserved place in the history books and are recognized for their courage in keeping not only the USA safe but helping our allies in war times.

It's a damn shame that some people are so ignorant when it comes to racial issues. I'm not perfect by far but when stories like this come along you would think anyone with an ounce of humanity would be able to do the right thing.

I hope they gain the rights they deserve.

They are to this day hunting and finding members of the third reich. Why not seek to bring justice to the good guys as well.

Signed too.

Glad someone posted this and that the petition was started in the first place. Been making me very since I heard.

Those guys are almost the best/most feared regiment in the world (Only beaten by the SAS) so why the ---- do they have less right in our country than all these Polish cleaners and builders??!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist about Poles, I'm fine with them being here, but I just think the Gurkhas should be too, if not then it's just double standards, and ridiculous ones at that.

We have a chain of three Gurkha Restaurants nearby (One in my town and 2 in nearish towns) which I have always loved to visit, the foods great and they have the most genuinely kind staff I have ever known in any restaurant.

I will definatly be visiting even more often now.

Wow, the Gurkha's are legendary for their ferociousness in battle and loyalty. I've very sorry to hear this is happening.

My main issue is that they are one of the Queen's own regiments!

How does that sound "Oh yeah I worked for the Queen, and did a bloody good job, but na I'm not allowed British Citizenship"

Crazy.

Signed and well done for putting it on here.
I think its an absolute disgrace that their not allowed to settle here, if a man is willing to fight and die for the residents of the UK then i think the least we can do is to allow him to live out the remainder of his days with his loved ones in the country he fought for.
My father fought during WW2 in the far east and came across many of these fine men and has nothing but praise for their courage and skill in combat he has also signed the petition

So did mine Redden, said they were the bravest people he'd ever known, if not just "god damn crazy!"

Every time I see something about this on a website or TV it gets me wound up..

Everyone just take 10 seconds to sign it.

If you have facebook theres also a group by the same people, as part of the petition.
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/g...406&ref=search

It'll take you a very small part of your life, but could make theres much happier forever.
