You don't necessarily have to ride to work but you save a fortune on a new bike.

I've just got a bike (below) with a retail cost of a grand and the cost to me is just under 500 quidly's. :D

Paid out of your wage monthly (over 12 or 18 months), but its minus VAT, N.I and Income Tax.

Jobs a good'un, now all I need is some decent weather.

Wow sweet bike;)
I had one last year but strangely had a head on collision with another mountain bike and broke my collar bone and bruised my kidneys pretty badly so that I was peeing blood for a few weeks!
Fine now though:)
Thinking about getting a new one, I love cycling but where I am living now everywhere is one big hill, so it is kinda putting me off lol
Edit: Thats it after looking at your bike again im going to start saving:D

Nothing beats it Social.

XC, Freeride and i'm dabbling with a bit of northshore at the moment although it's hard to come by in my neck of the woods :(.

You'll fall again, guaranteed. But getting back up is the hard part.

Just to get you wanting one a bit more, here's one of my others and the fiance's (and her legs) ;)

Sorry about the quality, had to reduce it to fit the file on the post.

I still have the one I killed in the garage, but it is in need of a completely new front end
I would like to buy a new good quality one but money is a bit tight these days so will have to wait a while:(

No harm in going second hand fella, save some money that way.

Just ensure you check the bike, specifically the frame, out for dings and dents.

All the rest of the components, especially the groupset components, are going to have to be changed at some point anyway.

If you don't want to go that route Specialized Hardrocks are good for people on a tight budget, very nice frame, the saving is made on the components.

Bike porn clicky

Sell it on the basis that not everyone lives as close to the workplace as you?
