| ...my HDTV? i have a Toshiba HDTV (with tuner) and i just cut my cable. I was told by a friend that antennas labled as HDTV are the same as regular ones and have the same picture. Is this true? |

| No. Antennas are analog... HD is digital. There might be special antennas used for digital broadcasts.... but in general, no, a generic antenna wont do the job |

| That's an interesting link. Thanks for posting it. The article reminds me of the trend a few years ago of marketing headphones using the phrase "digital ready" to describe them. |

| Thanks for the greatly informing link friend. It surely increases the knowledge about highly misinformed concept of HDTVs and its great to know that some people do own HDTVs these days....lol. |
