It's a lottery, my grandad is 80 and he smokes and drinks like a 20 year old party animal.

I am healthy, go to the gym and and eat right but I don't live in a protective box, jesus you really can take things too far.

If drinking the odd bottle of coke takes X days off my life then so be it, when I go I go.

Good words Dave.

Its better to live 1 day as a lion.

Than 1 year as a sheep.

Or words to that effect.

My motto?

Live fast, die young.

Seriously. Enjoy it while you can. I don't want to ever be some decrepid old bloke who needs help going to the loo, and who wonders if he's inadverently eaten his false teeth.

The people who tell you that this and that will take this and that amount of time off you life are statisticians stuck in a windowless office still living at home with their parents.

There is no set amount of time for any of us so how can doing anything take time off my life?

Sod that, I'm here to party.

1-Compare Coke to Stomach acid. Coke loses. EVERYTIME. The acid in your stomach is lethel.

2-The health problem with Coke is that it has many calories and no nutritional value at all. So you take in many calories for nothing. To make matters worse, you body doesn't register the calories as food so they are completely empty and you eat just has much as you would if you drank water. Soda consumption is a leading obesity indicator (this includes diet soda....for different reasons).

When you are thirsty your body is asking for water. PERIOD. That is the only thing your body is needing. You may WANT milk, a soda, tea..etc. You body only triggers thirst whenyou are low on water. It's like the idiot light in your car. The oil light doesn't go off if you need gas. It says oil and means oil. Thirst=water.

By the way, i am ACCER and I'm a Coke Addict. I love the stuff. But I'm also a realist.
