Hi guys,

I am studying for the CompTIA A+ course with London College. So I thought I would open a thread for any questions I may have I can just ask here instead of keep making loads of different threads.

The lessons are two hours and twice a week (monday, wednesday) I had my first lesson on wednesday and was good.

Ok my first question is that they gave me this book CompTIA A+ Complete Study Guide, Deluxe Edition

but they reviews they give aren't that good and say some bits had errors and that. So what books and websites do they think would be helpful for me.

I have seen this book PC Technician Street Smarts: A Real World Guide to CompTIA A+® Skills: A Real World Guide to CompTIA A+ Skills and thinking of getting it. Anyone read it or know info about it?

Thanks, CG

Can't really say as I'm not too sure, but when you finish the course tell me what it's like as I'm interested in it! Along with the Security+ and possibly Network+

It lasts 5 weeks. Whats it like learning from just the book?

Erm, it's cheaper lol.

It's kinda hard because you have to be self motivated. I have been reading the book for about 4 weeks now and thinking about taking the exams just after xmas.
