Default Is This a Crime? Accessing someone elses Hotmail

So i wont put names 1.A recovered B's msn account using there secret question? Just by knowing the answer.Then changed recovery and password 2.A then used B's email to change the password on social networking site (bebo) Is this illegal in uk?...

Guessing someones password through any means is called social engineering and yes it is illegal to access a password protected account without permission.

Never a good idea to try and twist security like this.

At least you did the smart thing and checked first - or at least, I hope you did.. do I need to check I can still log on?!?
