New media banner technology rolling out..called trustbanners!

http://www.trustbanners.com/

LATEST NEWS:
After 18 months of research, the partnership between Australian Advertising Agency (Amnesia Group Pty Ltd) and Prof. Olaf Prilo PHD from the Mind and Brain Institute of New South Wales have released findings on a genuine breakthough in online advertising. The result is a revolutionary method of gaining consumer trust through high frequency (90fps) banner adverts which stimulate specific regions of the visual cortex (Visual area V5/MT) producing instant effects on consumers.

Responses so far from users online:

Me personally, not liking it...but must admit, smart thinking!

I almost over dosed on Pepsi just now!!! NOT.

It's advertising, the Youtube testimonials are actors (or employees) If flashing and farting banners worked that well everyone use Incredimail.

Just my opinion.

You know, this might be why people inexplicably and without sense turn off vertical sync in games. Not understanding that the eye can't see differences over around 60fps, they turn it off because the extra frame rate brainwashes them.

An advertising agency called "Amnesia Group Pty Ltd"...? Specialised in adverts people like to forget?

Anway, coming from an advertising background, I believe that everyone working for this particular advertising agency deserves a kick in the teeth... The point of a good advertiser should always be to lure people into using/buying a product by giving it an image that comsumers might like and would like to be associated with and not by trying to mess with peoples brains.

Cheers:
Chris
