As said, on ebay your ok if you use common sense and stick to people with good feedback. I used to sell alot on ebay and trust me buyers are far better protected than sellers on ebay.

I had over 300 feedback all was 100% positive. Stoped after a while because i got done over. I sold an item and a few weeks later the guy did a cashback on his credit card. I showed paypal the positive feedback he left me, but because i didnt send it recorded delivery i had the money withdrawn from my account.

So i lost the item, the money, plus the commision paypal and ebay took. Plus paypal chared me a fee for "dealing" with the chargeback.

In short, Paypal and ebay are a joke and i hope they go out of business.

without getting into a rant, to sell on ebay.

you pay a listing fee, then you pay a final value fee to ebay which takes a percentage of the price. Then you have to pay a fee to paypal its a rip off.

sorry for the rant!

I disagree, I used to have an import business, China is one of the worst for fakes, so is Thailand.

Both countries have next to no copyright laws, and don't honor international ones.

Yea actually China is full of fake goods. Mostly Nike and ipods, There all fake. You can buy on ebay from hong kong, but again the stuff is fake and you may want to check for viruses.

When i started out i tried to source products from china. However soon realised that there all fake. However selling mp4 players is perfectly fine on ebay as long as you dont advertise them as ipods etc.

If used correctly it can be brilliant, i've gotta a few good bargains for the car over the years.

I dont understand some people though. Take mp3 players for example. The Creative stones one are £26 in dixons, yet there are people advertising them on ebay for £28 PLUS £10 p&p from china, yet somehow they are stilling selling them by the bucket load?!? Unfortunately some people are stupid and buy these things
