| to my astonishment my college exam results are absoulutely c**p computing i got an E, maths i got an E and graphics i got an E. looks like il have to find a full time job. the thing is, everything you learn in these subjects has nothing to do with real life. the information given to you is purely to make you pass exams, not what really applies outside college. anybody else got exam resultd back at all??? |

| Say's as much about the tutor's as it does anything else. You know the old adage: "Those that can't. Teach."

| Did you do enough studying? Did you go to every class? I may be harsh, but it's only from experience - I was in the same boat as you once. Know that all is not lost however. There are many paths you can choose from here. One of the more risky ones would be to start your own business. What are your interests/hobbies? You should still try for a further education - even if it's not at the University/College that you wanted. |

| heya guys. in fact everyone in the class. even the extremely intelligent ones, got low grades. my friend who is 17, who has now moved to australia. got an E and hes now working as a programmer for a company in that country. i went to my re-enrolment yesterday and decided to down the path of a national diploma in IT practitioners. which entails: programming using html, php, java, visual basic and C++. network and desktop support. website design, computer hardware maintenence and upgrading. and alot of other stuff. sounds quite good. |

| That sounds well good mate. Im studying Information Systems at Uni, in third year now and on work placement for the year. The stuff the taught me in the first two years is completely useless in the real world...infact I look like a complete retard when it comes to actually helping people, if they needed help analysing IS's then I'd for sure be their man...Im afraid thats life...
