Well some of the things to include:
  • Your name
  • Your contact details (including home address)
  • Your qualifications (only the recent/important ones, things like SATS doesn't matter)
  • Your experience doing the job (or similar)
  • References (these can be anyone that knows what your like (it shouldn't be anyone related though) and you just need to put their name and contact details, Employers like your last job as a reference if applicable)
  • Why you want to work for them

None of those are in any perticular order, just as I remembered them, Just make sure you don't lie, as you will most likley be found out, then you definatly won't get the job.

A good personal statement at the top. This is the first thing they read, and most CVs get chucked in the bin after the first line. Make it honest, and real, about who you are, and what you can do.

Otherwise, what thingie2 said.

What job are you going for? Not one of the tech guys?!!

Spell check it and get someone to read it!

A first page summary is useful, second etc expanding on that.

I would say include a full education history with columns

From date--To date, Where, Qualifications received

(Don't include those headings though!)

Oh, and don't use underlining!

Show the sort of enthusiasm you show here and you should be fine!

That you were a self-employed part-time computer guru whilst at school/uni?

At your age you should be thginking of retiring...

Its not looking bad, but you need to lay it out slightly differently perhaps.. (Before I forget, it is a really bad idea to post your email address on the open forums. The crawlers / spammers will have it immediately.)

I have attached an example CV, and filled it in with what u provided. It will give you some ideas if nothing else. I changed your personal statement a bit as well to make it read better.

It is also worth adding a cover letter, which is basically saying why you are the right person for the job. It needs to be a proper letter, addressed and dated etc. Example also included.
