We would have never guessed, lol.

Not a big "soccer" fan but do enjoy watching a good match now and then.

We Americans just never can seem to find the true passion other countries have for the sport. Some hard core fans are truly frightening!

It's not at all obvious is it? lol why do you call it soccer? its played with your feet therefore football whereas american football is just glorified rugby except with all the protective gear.

Its the best sport in the world biggest sport by far here in England/Britain I suppose there are several other more high profile sports in America- basketball, baseball, ice hockey and american football. Do you think it will ever be big in the USA and what do you think about David Beckham?

Oh no you said the B word. (Beckham) He did a lot for the sport here, but his injuries have people in a fit because they paid loads of money for season tickets and he can't play the whole season.

I have to admit he is a class act. The media tries and tries to put him on a pedestal and he downplays it. I think it is simply what he loves and he knows he is fortunate in the attention he draws.

Yes American Football players wear pads. But they have multiple brutal hits on every play. They would be seriously hurt without them.

Why we have to rename everything is beyond me.

A lot of young kids play football don't they? But then the majority don't continue it is that correct? What do you think it would take to generate the level of interest in football that we have here in the UK?

Yea, it really is popular among younger players. They have tried and tried but nothing seems to work in making it popular. Americans love action and more so showboating. Maybe that is why it just isn't appealing.

E. does America know that the USA ladies football team is playing in the World Cup at present? They may be playing England in the quarter finals and they were the pre event favourites. Almost forgot HG I am a Man U supporter.

Anybody who can beat England!

Actually, not true, as that would make me a supporter of just about any team!
