Just as a bit of market research, how many people here would be interested in buying a gold plated ipod back/getting their ipod gold plated/buying a gold plated ipod at prices which significantly undercut the competition? Its not an advert, Im just doing some market research..

Right... Well if you weren't, and were in the market for an exclusive luxury gift, would you buy from someone like me who undercuts major companies prices significantly?? :0

It's all about trust and quality I think Jimmy.

I would want to buy from a company with a decent website, contact details and/or a reputable seller on eBay.

I wouldn't buy from a guy on a forum saying they can undercut anyone without mentioning quality.

It's not all about the money.

Well okay I can take constructive criticism.. So if I got a decent website and/or carefully maintained ebay account, then would people be interested in buying my stuff with my policy of quality and value(like morrisons)

I don't see why not.

I wasn't trying to be harsh, but you will struggle with an online/mail order business unless you can project a good, professional image.

Okay yeah, well like I said constructive criticism is a good thing, and thanks for giving an honest opinion on the subject. I know you werent trying to be harsh, I didnt say you were... Creating a professional looking website is something I may struggle with so I might just stick to ebay until i get some more website building experience.

I agree, starting up on eBay is a good idea, you don't need advertising for a start as eBay basically take care of that.

All you need is a good product at the right price and you will get sales.

Good luck. :)
