Default Hello, im new to the car audio "scene" and was wanting

to know how i could get the most out of my system. i have an Alpine MRP-M850 mono amp rated : (800 watts @ 2q )and (500 rms at 4 q.) To go with it i got 2 Alpine Type R subs with the impedance level of 4) also: my power wire is connnected to to a bolt on the fuse box where some other wire seems to be grounded n i was wondering if that was ok? it seems to pwer my amp but i didnt know if it would cause problems with anything that fuse box controls and didnt want to cause potential harm to myself or especially my family. any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you for your time.

the possitive wire is going to the fuse box and the black ground is ground to the chasis yes that is correct don't ground the amplifier to the fuse box
