Default Hooking up a LCD monitor to a satellite box

I don't know to much about tv's and high def stuff so I need some advice on something I want to do.

I have a satellite dish on my roof. A cable runs from it to a satelite box in my house. The box connects to my bulky crt tv.
What I want to know is. Can I hook up one of my 19" LCD monitors to the satellite box? And have it display on the LCD?

My LCD monitor has 2 VGA ports and 1 DVI port.
My Satellite box has 1 coaxal, 1 s-video, 3 of those different color anolog porty things, and I think that's about it.

So is there someway for me to hook up the LCD to the SAT?

Thanks for any help or advice

Elijah

Thanks for the help ComputerGuy. I guess I'll purchase that.

I am just curious about one other thing. My 19" LCD is a widescreen.
will it stretch the picture or will I have black bars on the side?

Your welcome.

Im not too sure to be honest. Most T.Vs are wide screen nowadays so i guess it would be ok but i really don't no.

ive tried this before, it didnt work because of the different refesh rates. you need to buy a box (forget the name) to change the signal but it dulls the picture quality
