| That's not an engine #, that's a casting number, and as such the engine could be from a wide variety of cars or trucks from 1969 to 1979.The engine # is located in front of the right side cylinder head on a small pad. |

| What are you looking to do? The possibilitys are endless with a 350. I believe the first answer above is correct, but im not sure but i think on '87 and later engines that number is on the back left side if i remember correctly. |
