Hit the 'on' switch on the terrific Temjin tj-07 case. and POP!

psu has done a bunk and taken the motherboard with it. And probably the ram as well. Maybe the cpu....

Laptops, yeah laptops, that's the way to go. Just blinkin' sold my HP as well. Using the Fujitsu at the mo. With a squint I can just make out the characters on this screen. Whoever decided 12" of space was enough wants shooting. And I'm the pratt that agreed.

G'awd I'm wound up. Now I've got a huge desk ornament in the shape of the case.

Dammit.

No, said a while ago I'm not a big gamer anymore. I like Lomac and C&C but that's about it for the pc. Spend most of my gaming time on the 360 now. Besides, the Rock has the 8800GTX, mobile version. Guess where the new GX2 is coming from folks....

Nope, not having any luck Dave. The new build is out the window. I'm rather down about the whole thing if I'm honest. Amazing how the loss of a machine can wind you up isn't it.

She really did need a new lappy, this Fujitsu just doesn't cut it now. Not on a spec's basis but on the screen size.

In the past, what?, 6 months I've had two pc's die on me. Still gutted to be honest.

Anyone reading this probably knows the feeling; almost scheduled cleaning of fans etc, constant incremental improvements, chkdsk, avg scans, defrags blah blah.

And putting all that hard work in only for it to blow, no, wasn't happy.

Anyway, I'm past my whinging, crying stage and giving up on the reflex purchase of a lappy. And the gf has now changed her mind from the Sony to the Dell Xps 420. . Because "it looks stylish" And I had to admit it's not a bad spec component wise (quad, 8800, 320gb drives, bluetooth connectivity for keyboard, mouse etc). And "Its a similar specification to the one you're building" So Sony cancelled whilst I talk her out of it.

My new build components are on their way, except a mobo, haven't decided on that yet.
