If you have speakers or something like that very close to or on the TV, try moving them away and see if that helps. If not, you probably have a bad one and should go return it while you still can.

If It's a projection TV It might be gun alignment.

My in laws had that same problem the had to get it fixed. the bought it at Sears the sent a repair guy out

Your demagnetizer may have quit halfway, while demagnetizing your picture tube....it may need repaired or possibly replaced, especially if you have seen the problem still there after being turned off overnight.....
