Apache. Whom do I contact for information?

Default I'm writing a novel. One of my characters is Mescalero

To get things exact, see if the Mescalero Apache nation has a tribal cultural advisor. You could likely contact the tribal council for that information, take a look online for their website for the right phone number,e-mail addresses and other whatnots. But if they don't want to work with you, I suggest you find another character because you shouldn't be messing with things where you don't have the right information.
