| I'm losing interest in computers and the Internet now, I'm having one problem after another and i just don't have the strength to deal with them anymore. All i use my computer for is listening to music and posting on this site so it feels a waste to keep up with the routine maintenance. And i actually feel better for turning of my computer and leaving it, its been almost two weeks and i haven't once felt the urge to boot it up. At this moment in time I'm using a friends laptop to post this and i know once Ive done what i need to do here ill leave it for another two weeks or more. And to think i took courses at college to further my knowledge on computers, Anyone ever felt the same?

| i guess so. it happens. it's just that occasionally you need a break from the routine. sitting at your computer day in, day out, what the hell kind of a life is that? it's easy to understand the desire for something new.

what i find happens a lot is i get amazingly interested in something, obsess over it for a while, then lose interest for an equivalent amount of time. then i come back to it and obsess for a while longer. happens with everything. not just computers or forums. it's when i realize that i live in a crappy place like this and that i have nothing better to do that i come crawling back to this. and it's what i excel at. so i might as well embrace it a little. just take it easy. this is something we do for fun and for everyone's benefit, not just ours. not like we're being paid for it, eh? no one is obligated to stay here. we do it because we want to. so leaving it alone for a while aint the end of the world. we just hope you'll pop in once in a while to say hello, or break off for a while and come back :) do as you please, have no regrets, have fun, and feel better. | I feel the same sometimes, as I used to be in website design and forum management, I got really into it too, designing websites for friends or just for fun, and running a forum alongside it. Though when my PC wen down with an aggresive virus, I didn't have access to it for just under 2 months, and since then I've never created a single website or forum, never got back into it, just doesn't interest me anymore.

It's also the case when I spend time away from my pc, say a week or weekend with my gf, I don't really miss what I do on the computer, but when I get back and boot it up again I get into the swing of things, too. I'm studying a HND in computing at college, and my attendance is shocking. Mainly due to the fact the college is so far away, and I don't really enjoy the travelling, so I don't enjoy the course, so I don't attend, so it's pretty pointless at times. My System: =/
