Default Mac or pc

I Have a Pc and a Mac.

I like Macs better, They are more user friendly and easier to understand and Are very unique looking that have good programs. They are the only computer that can run both operating systems, With a program called bootcamp. Macs have amazing graphics and iv'e never had a virus befor on my mac leopard, its basically like having a laptop.

The only Good thing about a pc is it runs all the latest Pc games, But Macs are alot better. Pc's are gross and take up to much room.

Your brother is right a Mac is better, And it has an option of Running windows Vista And windows xp on the loading screen, Technically It can run Pc games. They are expensive, But are alot better.

so your telling me a white box that cant live up to the standards with stuck up people who make it hard for you to upgrade to keep up with the times and force you to spend a ton of money to get a computer that will easily be obsolite in a week whos only way of advertising is to point out flaws in another OS only to distract for a moment from the flaws in its own, when sadly you dont realize this is about PC vs. MAC, not Leapard vs Vista. there is the main flaw in your argument. And your telling me, a custom build PC, like this
http://www.scorptec.com.au/images/pr...4690_large.jpg
is not good looking?
take a look at my very own desktop

does that look ugly to you? i think not. and even so, there are 1000's of themes to get for free, or better yet, make your own. and you say not simple to use? well, if it was not that simple then why would over 80% if not over 90% of people be using a PC? The only reason MAC started using a OS such as Vista or XP is because they finally wised up and realized that they need an OS that people actually use. XP and vista COME with video editors for FREE. MAC you pay extra. and if you have a PC and WANT to pay more for one, then you can get the stuff that the pros used in real movies on the big screen. so lets review. with a PC, you get faster parts for your money, can make it look cool inside and out, uses an OS that almost everyone uses STANDARD, you can upgrade to keep up with the times, and the best anti virus is free! now lets see about MAC. hmm... well, to sum it up, MAC is the exact opposite of all that. case closed.

i simply can't understand how mac users simply overlook a lot of the aspects involved with owning and maintaining a pc.

lets say you buy a macbook. sure, it's fast at the moment, it works great, easy to understand...whatever floats your frickin boat. i hope you're happy with it for the next 3 months. because in that time, it will have easily become obsolete. and almost none of the parts are easily upgradeable next to the processor maybe. you'd probably have to bring it in and pay a mac professional to do it for you. and that would in the end out-cost the amount you'd pay buying a processor and installing it yourself.

to all mac owners. please do not say macs are better until you look at maintaining it for more than a year or two. because that's about how long they last until standards change, parts become outdated, and you're left in the dust with something that underperforms. sure it plays games nicely now. but what about a year from now when your graphics card simply can't do it anymore?

or what about memory? do you need more to simply manage all the complex tasks you do? video and graphics editing is easier on a mac, but even they have their limits with how much can be done at the same time.

i've used a mac for at least 6 months. sure, it was ok. but...i wouldn't want to own one simply because of all the money i'd be spending keeping up to date with today's world.

in the course of maybe 5 years, you'll have bought maybe 2 or even 3 macbooks or macs. and that's easily 5000 dollars of your money....plain and simply...wasted. because all that money could've bought you a nice PC that would've lasted you for easily 10 years if you built it well enough.

Uh, it's pretty difficult to "upgrade" a laptop regardless of its manufacturer. That's the only reason I'd buy a MacBook. Either way you'll be trashing it in five years.
