I have a sunbird convertible with a VR3 stereo and Pyramid speakers. It sounds ok in the mid-range, but the high and low notes don't come through good especially if the top is down.I would like to add a subwoofer which would have to go under a front seat or trunk, and tweeters under the dash in the front. I'm mainly interested in doing cheaply and effectively. The stereo does have a subwoofer output ( RCA phono x 2 ).Please give me your recommendations.

Hey well first of all the whole pyramid is a start if its ur first.. But i sujest somethin better.. Shit even jensen would be better haha.. N e how you say u have out puts for the subwoofer on back of cd player.. Well use the rear out put cable(You wont be able to adjust "Subwoofer Volume" But u can adjust The Fade from rear to front).. This makes it so u can have more tweeter in the front,,, I'm runnin 500/1 Jl Amp and a 12" JL Audio W7.. and putting it on the subwoofer input for the cd player cable "RCA Wires" just didnt do it.. my setup is a clrion touch screen cd player...And the tweeters will do you good if you put them in the right place.. Take some pics let me know how it goes.. I sugest using Ebay.com tp buy products.. I have ordered millions of thing's without a problem... the Clarion cd player was a 900$ retail cd player got it for 400$ using Ebay.. with Warenty...

Hmm..I recommend gettin' rid of the audio you have and get a new head unit...(Sony, Pioneer, etc) and get a Pioneer amp with a Dual Voice Coil Pioneer sub. Make sure the magnet on the sub is decent sized. The bigger the magnet, the more juice is pushed through the sub. I recommend checkin' out eBay.Also a better head unit will increase sound quality through your factory speakers as well !dpkchrome@yahoo.com
