Default New ISP

Ok boys and girls I'm up for a new ISP.
I need input as to to who are the dogs bollocks, (that's the best to anyone unsure of the term) and who are not.

Who are you with?

Are they good?

Are they crap?

I'd rather get info from the horses mouth so to speak than from anonymous punters on a given ISP site claiming Joe Bloggs ISP is the best thing since sliced bread.

Cheers all.

Wolfey

I'm with Virgin, they are not without their problems but I have found them to be no more than any other ISP.

They also offer speeds ADSL ISPs can only dream of.

I'm on Virgin as well - part of their TV/Phone/Computer package. It's ok - the modem is a bit rubbish and freezes one go in 10 (apparantly I don't "have the right drivers" according to their tech support, despite downloading the most up to date ones <sigh>), but the service is ok, and with the package, it isn't too expensive (£30 per month for everything, calls on top, but weekends are free)

Thanks for the insight JoFo but £30 is too expensive.

Welcome to TCF by the way.:)

It would be if I was just spending it on t'internet, but I need the cable so that I can watch my Dr Who Confidential as well (and my "Daily Show") ;)

Thanks :) Been taking a look round - it's a *huge* forum! :D

I think Virgin have some deal on right now where it's £10 a month for the first year.

Bargain.

If you're looking for ADSL Newnet is good delivers what it says, good C/R when I lost my password on set up on hold for about 2 minutes. had no problems at all in the 6 months I've been on. Good connection no drop outs and tailor the package to suit you.
