i don't know about you, but i get fed up on reading about amy winehouse amd britney spears every morning

or what posh wears on her night out

in the daily mirror theres most likely one or two articles at most that i fully read

im rebelling, what papers you guys read?

i need a paper with actual news, along the topics of science, politics ( not too much) and general UK news

just less of a fashion paper

i don't like the whole 'lets stay outside amy winhouse' house at 3 in the morning the get a snap of her putting out the rubbish in a bra'

i put the rubbish out in my cool Simpson's dressing gown and wolf slippers but i don't get front page

anyways you get my point, any recommendations?

the Sun is also a no, page 3 gets tedious after boring in this day in age

Why don't you just subscribe to a journal or magazine devoted to science and perhaps politics and "hard" news? :)

Popular Science (might be a bit too "casual" though)
Nature
Science
Scientific American (dunno if they'd have that in the UK :p)
Discover
The Economist
Newsweek

etc etc?

Jeez Davey just avoid all tabloids it is a scientific fact that reading them reduces your IQ by 5 points every time you look at one.

Oh yes, the Telegraph's the only paper to read but not in public because you're more likely to get mugged. Personally I wouldn't touch these trashy tabloids cos its like krlll said.
