I was thinking that we haven't got a random chat thread so you can just write something quick that doesn't need a whole thread to itself. Oh and non computer related topics please. Dont want this turning into a help thread.

Anyway what made me think of making this thread is i was thinking Bit early for the Christmas decorations Dave but then thought where can I write this without sending a personal message or starting a pointless thread so here we are....

Enjoy

Yeah I know, I'm not overly festive if I'm honest but I read somewhere that in most instances like shop marketing and decorating high streets it's the done thing to get in the spirit one month before the big day.

In the US it is customary (in homes) to put out Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving.
Which falls on the third Thursday of the month.

In stores, I really enjoy trying to go get the kids some Halloween goodies and seeing more Christmas trees then pumpkins. Pretty annoying!

I hate Christmas. Well, not Christmas but what it's been turned into; a soddin' commercialised, sale-fest.

Scrooge has got nothing on me.

Yeah Christmas is a bit of a scam now. I also hate the card companies for making all these other ocassions like fathers day mothers day and valentines days a big thing.
